figure

All my friends have lost weight and they are  looking great. I asked them their secret. It’s slimming world. So I decided to do a little research into it and try it. Here is what I learned.  Dieters  are allowed a maximum of 15 Syns per day, minor transgressions into the realm of the calorific that can be consumed as part of a balanced regime primarily based around “Free Foods” like fruit and vegetables, eggs, grains and low-fat dairy products. Regardless of the plan you choose to follow, you are allowed five to 15 Syns a day.As the Slimming World diet is based on healthy eating, you can expect to lose, on average, 2lb a week. Exercising regularly will boost this weight loss.

People can eat as much as they want of certain ‘filling’ foods such as:
  • fresh meat.
  • fish.
  • eggs.
  • fruit and vegetables.
  • (cooked) dried pasta, rice and noodles.
  • meat substitutes including plain tofu, Quorn and seitan.
  • pulses.
  • fat-free dairy.
