Christmas Decorations Are Up

I love Christmas and I have taken over mum’s role as decorator on a major scale. It is for the kids, I say,  for my nieces and nephews!!! I got a little carried away. My house is like Santa’s North Pole home.

Fresh Fruit Always

For me there are some essentials: Poinsettia Plants, Christmas Trees, Holly, Cribs, Homemade Wreaths and decorations, outdoor lights, mistletoe, homemade mulled wine and baked fresh cakes, homemade cookies and family gatherings for the big meal on Christmas Day.

This Year I Bought A New White tree. I wanted to try something different from the traditional red and gold on the green tree.

I decorated it with gold, bronze, white and silver decorations.

I have dad’s crib he made for mum in their first house but I also bought a few years ago a gold bible with a musical moving crib with flashing stars.

It is not Christmas without the  red poinsettia plants. these are on sale in Supervalu for €3. I have the porch filled with these.
